The main role of IMF is to provide facilities for its members to carry out futures contract transactions based on prices determined through efficient interactions based on supply and demand in electronic trading systems. The establishment of IMF was based on Law Number 32 of 1997 concerning Commodity Futures Trading.

The transformation process and utilization of the latest information technology is optimized to respond to market demands and a dynamic business environment.
